A 19-year-old Wisconsin woman is being charged with neglect after shooting a friend while playing with a cat.
The woman went to use the laser sight on a handgun so the cat could chase the light. As she was handling the weapon the gun went off and a man was hit in the thigh. According to a criminal complaint filed Thursday alcohol may have contributed to the accidental shooting.
