The crowd for today’s Milwaukee Bucks parade will make Tuesday’s crowd of 65-thousand in the Deer District look small.
Milwaukee is expecting hundreds of thousands of people to turn out for the championship parade. It starts at 11 a.m. today at the Museum Center Park and will go to the Deer District outside of Fiserv. The city expects the parade to take about an hour-and-a-half but expects the celebration to last throughout the afternoon.
In the wake of the crowds and celebrations from earlier this week, two people are in custody for the shootings outside of the Deer District following Milwaukee’s NBA championship.
Milwaukee Police yesterday said they arrested an 18-year-old for the shooting along Juneau Street about 12:45 yesterday morning. MPD says a 25-year-old man is in custody for the shooting along Knapp Street that injured two. Police say they are looking for more suspects in the case as well.
