Facebook, Twitter, and other social media companies will be required to tell people why their posts are not showing-up under a new plan at the Wisconsin Capitol.
Republican State Senator Julian Bradley yesterday introduced a plan he says will bring transparency and fairness to social media. Bradley’s plan would require big tech companies to share their algorithm and explain why some posts are removed or taken down, while others are not. Bradley says his plan is based on a similar proposal in Florida. He says it simply requires the big tech companies to follow their own rules.
