Governor Tony Evers is signing a budget with one of the largest tax cuts in Wisconsin history.
The governor said when he ran for office, he made a promise that he would cut taxes for the middle class by ten-percent. Today, he says he’s keeping his word. The state budget signed today includes a two-billion-dollar income tax cut over the next two years.
