It’s the latest snapshot that shows the coronavirus is fading in Wisconsin.
The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday said Wisconsin is averaging zero coronavirus deaths per-day. Last month that number was four deaths. Since last March over 73 hundred people in the state have died from the virus. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO.
When it comes to local vaccinations, Eau Claire is allowing people to drive up and get a coronavirus shot.
The county opened its first drive-thru clinic yesterday. The clinic is at UW-Eau Claire’s Water Street parking lot and is aimed at students. Health Director Lieske Giese says there are still a number of people in the county who have not gotten a shot. The state’s Department of Health Services says just over 50-percent of people in Eau Claire County have gotten at least one dose of the vaccine. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO.
