Wisconsin’s governor is closing-in on 200 pardons.
Governor Evers yesterday issued 18 more pardons, mostly for drug crimes or thefts, bringing his total since he took office to 192. The governor says all of the people he pardoned yesterday have turned their lives around, and many of their crimes are now decades old.
