The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire baseball team made history over the weekend.
If you were flipping through the paper, you may have seen this in The Leader-Telegram. They reported the team took the field for it’s first varsity game since 1995. The program was discontinued more than 20-years-ago and athletes have since been able to participate at the club level. The Blugolds lost to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. The team’s home opener is set for April 2nd.
