Kids all over will be starting their day with “Green Eggs and Ham.”
The book, that is. Today marks the birthday of legendary author Dr. Seuss, also known for “The Cat in the Hat,” “Fox in Socks,” “Oh, the Places You’ll Go” and countless others. President Biden didn’t mention Dr. Seuss by name when he followed tradition in proclaiming March 2nd ‘Read Across America Day.’ He’s calling on everyone to observe this day with ceremonies and activities. He says for most, the path to literacy begins with story time at school.
