Governor Tony Evers wants to go big on capital spending.
The governor today released a list of projects for the next two years which includes a new 164-million-dollar state office building in Milwaukee. The governor has included projects in 31 counties in his two-point-three-eight-billion-dollar capital budget.
The governor says low bond rates is what makes this a perfect time to invest in infrastructure. The governor’s budget also includes 150-million-dollars for building projects within the UW system.
