Coca-Cola is moving forward to roll out 100-percent recycled plastic bottles in the U.S.
Company officials say the recycled Coke bottles will cut its use of new plastic by over 20-percent compared to 2018. The company is also creating a new 13-point-two ounce bottle made of recycled plastic in addition to their standard 20 ounce bottle. The new bottles will be introduced later this month in the Northeastern U.S. They will be available nationwide later in the year.
