Governor Tony Evers vetoes a COVID-19 relief measure hours after lawmakers passed it.
The Governor’s decision came yesterday afternoon. He said his veto comes because the bill creates conditions that “make it more challenging to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 in Wisconsin.” Evers disagrees with the bill’s ban of an employer requirement that employees get the COVID-19 vaccination, among other points.
