Groundhog Day comes up again, this week.
The annual forecast offered by Punxsutawney Phil is scheduled for this Tuesday, February 2nd at 7:25-a.m. Eastern time in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.
The event is part of western Pennsylvania folk tradition alive since the 1880s. Around sunrise this Tuesday, the popular marmot will emerge from his burrow and if Phil sees his shadow, it means there’ll be six more weeks of winter. Otherwise, if Phil doesn’t see his shadow, it’ll be an early spring bringing warmer conditions.
Because of the COVID-19 emergency conditions Phil’s prediction will be livestreamed. GET MORE DETAILS FROM THE HOLE, HERE.
