It could be 20 years in prison for the former pharmacist who told police he tried to ruin hundreds of doses of the coronavirus vaccine.
Steven Brandenburg agreed to a plea deal with federal prosecutors yesterday. The U.S. Attorney charged Brandenburg with two counts of attempting to tamper with a consumer product. Brandenburg made national headlines when the news broke that he left about 500 doses of the vaccine out to spoil back in December. He told police he worried the vaccine would mutate people’s DNA. The plea deal came after prosecutors in Ozaukee County reduced the charges in their case.
