Today is National Hugging Day.
But, with the coronavirus standing in the way, here are some alternatives to give you a mental hug. You can brew yourself a cup of your favorite coffee or tea, or settle down into a nice warm bath. If you want to feel like you’re being hugged and cuddled at the same time, you can curl up in one of those weighted blankets. You can hug your pet and, instead of feeling guilty if you still haven’t taken down your holiday decorations, wrap yourself in the holiday spirit.
