WI Tasks a Shot at More Vaccine Rollouts

Wisconsin’s coronavirus vaccine count is adding-up.

The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday said more than 40-thousand people in the state have been fully vaccinated. In all, doctors and nurses have given-out over 248-thousand doses. Wisconsin has been sent 473-thousand doses, and promised over 300- thousand more.

The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday said starting next week, anyone 65-years old and older will be eligible to get the vaccine. DHS’s Julie Willems Van Dijk, however, said it will be weeks or months before everyone who is eligible gets a shot.

DHS is also finalizing the other people who will be in the next round, which reportedly includes teachers and prisoners.
