It’s here! In a year where so many things look different, Christmas came just the same.
If you are celebrating Christmas this year, we wish you the Merriest of days.
Christmas is one the most significant holidays in Western Christianity as it commemorates the birth of Jesus. The traditional Christmas narrative says that Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem to Mary and Joseph.
Pope Francis is celebrating Christmas Eve in Rome with coronavirus restrictions in place.
Midnight Mass started earlier than usual at the Vatican this year due to Italy’s 10:00 p.m. curfew. Pope Francis gave a homily about love and taking care of others. He said “the greatest joy in life is the birth of a child.”
Christmas Day is a public and federal holiday in many of the world’s nations.
It’s also a big day for the Big Jolly Man in the bright red suit! Today is Christmas Day and millions of children are opening their presents from Santa.
The story of Santa stretches all the way back to the 3rd century, when Saint Nicholas walked the earth and became the patron saint of children.
But even The Grinch knows, it’s not just about the presents.
No matter what your plans are on this Christmas Day, we want to thank you for stopping in with us and want to let you know that we are thinking of you and wishing you a little magic of your own on this Christmas, 2020…and plenty of moments filled with “a little bit more.”
Merry Christmas.
