Police are warning parents to be careful about what they post on social media as their kids return to school.
Chippewa Falls School Resource Officer Brian Flug says the information becomes public as soon as it’s posted, and predators can more easily find where kids attend school, where they live, and who they’re associated with. He recommends thinking twice before posting information like that, including the school’s logo or images. He says it’s good to check social media privacy settings, too.
