It’s the first day of the Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee.
The events last through Thursday featuring speakers and performers that echo the party’s theme of unity. In a news release, the Democratic National Convention Committee said when we stand united, we can overcome anything. Officials asked attendees to stay home this year and Joe Biden and running mate Kamala Harris will accept the nomination virtually. Both President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence will visit Wisconsin this week. President Trump will be in Oshkosh today.
