The museum has closed and now, no one knows if Eau Claire’s Children’s Museum will reopen.
Museum manager Michael McHorney yesterday said the museum cannot afford to lose any more money. McHorney said the museum was losing 12 hundred dollars-a-day during the coronavirus outbreak. The museum closed earlier this spring because of the virus, but reopened a few weeks ago. Visitors were limited to under ten people.
McHorney said they were seeing about 15 percent of their usual crowd.
