Emergency management is reminding Eau Claire residents to sign up for weather alerts.
After the National Weather Service confirmed two tornadoes in Western Wisconsin over the weekend, Eau Claire Emergency Management Coordinator Tyler Esh said it’s a good time to sign up for weather alerts on multiple platforms, but especially on your phone. He said if the power goes out and the television doesn’t work, residents can stay updated with text alerts.
