Children’s Wisconsin Hospital in Milwaukee is reporting multiple cases of what they believe is the multi-system inflammatory syndrome identified in children exposed to COVID-19.
These are the first suspected cases of MIS-C in the state.
The inflammatory disease causes swelling in different organs, a high fever, abdominal pain, a rash, red eyes and often swelling of the hands and feet.
