The Eau Claire Fire Department responded to a report of a fire in a residence at 1320 Altoona Ave. on Thursday, May 28th.
On Arrival fire crews found light smoke coming from the siding and rear porch of a two-story residence. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire. Damage is estimated to be $15,000. The fire remains under investigation.
