NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE FIRE IN JUNEAU CO.

A wildfire is under control after burning over 200 acres in Juneau County. 

Crews were on the scene yesterday near State Road 80 and Speedway Road north of Necedah where several people were evacuated as a precaution.  Department of Natural Resources officials say the fire burned around 240-acres on the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge before crews were able to get things under control late yesterday afternoon. 

No structures were damaged and there are no reports of injuries.
