Wisconsin’s attorney general is telling anyone who isn’t safe at home that the state’s Safer at Home order doesn’t apply to them.
A-G Josh Kaul yesterday said domestic violence victims are encouraged to leave home to get help during the coronavirus outbreak.
Kaul says victims can go to a hotel, a shelter, or a friend’s or relative’s house for help. Domestic violence advocates are also telling victims not to stay.
