Get out the yellow legal pads and coffee cups…Eau Claire’s Redevelopment Authority is taking a look to take the Cannery District in a new direction. A Milwaukee firm wants to turn the area on the city's lower west side into a “pocket neighborhood.”
The small neighborhood would appeal to people who want to walk to downtown and to the parks. The Redevelopment Authority will consider the proposal at tonight’s meeting.
