It’s heeeeeere! The long awaited opening of a new Downtown jewel took place over the weekend. The Pablo Center at the Confluence opened its doors to the public and gets BIG BRAVO’S from the crowds.
The center celebrated its grand opening Saturday with a ribbon cutting and open house. Thousands of guests were able to explore the facilities and buy tickets for upcoming shows. Officials at the Center hope the activities in the building will leave a lasting arts, culture, and community legacy.
The new building is at the Confluence of Chippewa and Eau Claire Rivers (Hence the name) in Downtown Eau Claire and what started as a dream, grew with blood, sweat, tears, is now a reality. Local citizen Marty Green says “When I toured it with Kurt Williams of Market/Johnson …It Moved me EMOTIONALLY. To any of you who once called Eau Claire Home….You must come for a Performance in the FUTURE.”
