Senator Tammy Baldwin says President Trump is taking money from the Wisconsin economy.
The Wisconsin Democrat is objecting to the Department of Defense’s plan to take millions of dollars appropriated for Oshkosh Corporation and use it to build the southern border wall. Baldwin says the president’s action to take over 100-million-dollars appropriated by Congress for Oshkosh Corp. is taking money away from Wisconsin workers.
She says President Trump promised the people of Wisconsin the border wall would be paid for by Mexico, but the American taxpayer is picking up the tab.
