Following decades of work, the Ho-Chunk Museum is finally open.
The Ho-Chunk is one of the original tribes of Wisconsin with members in at least 14 counties across the state. Museum Director Josie Lee says it’s important that tribal people tell their own stories in their own words.
The museum Is open Monday through Friday in Tomah and anyone with a piece of Ho-Chunk history that would like to have it displayed can contact the museum.
