An engineering detachment with the Wisconsin Army National Guard is headed to Kuwait.
About 15 soldiers based in Milwaukee with the 924th engineer facilities detachment left for the Middle East after a ceremony in Madison this morning. The soldiers will provide facilities management for the Department of Public Works at the base in Kuwait. The soldiers will be deployed for about a year.
