Over the upcoming weekend we are expecting frigid temperatures.
When this happens, Catholic Charities Sojourner House activates its overflow accommodation procedure. On average, the Sojourner House is able to provide an overnight place to stay for 53 adult men and women. When actual overnight temperatures fall at or below 15 degrees Fahrenheit (not including wind-chill or feels like temperatures), the overflow will be accommodated.
Overflow capacity is 63 adult men and women. In the instance of an extreme weather situation, the overflow procedure will be implemented at the discretion of the facility director or other designated Catholic Charities staff.
