Lawyers for both the Wisconsin Election Commission and the League of Women Voters are promising to appeal a ruling that, for now, tosses over 200 thousand voters in Wisconsin off the voter rolls.
A judge in Ozaukee County on Friday ruled that the Election Commission was wrong to give 234 thousand voters more than 30 days to correct their address of tell local election managers that they had not moved.
The judge says the WEC doesn’t have that power. The League of Women Voters and other advocates are accusing the judge of disenfranchising voters.
