The holiday season means more police on the state roadways.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is kicking off its Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign on Friday. The emphasis on drivers under the influence and distracted driving will continue through New Year’s Day. In 2018, 160 people died and more than three-thousand were injured in alcohol-related crashes in the state.
