WI NATIONAL GUARD FOLLOWS RECOMMENDATIONS AFTER HARASSMENT REPORTS

The Wisconsin National Guard will implement recommendations made following sexual assault and harassment reports.

The National Guard Bureau Office of Complex Investigations has been looking into the charges that officials dismiss sexual assault complaints and reports of retaliation against victims.

Governor Tony Evers and Senator Tammy Baldwin asked the OCI to conduct an assessment.  Major General Don Dunbar says the guard intends to implement all of the undisclosed recommendations made in the report because sexual misconduct has no place in the Wisconsin National Guard.
