The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is reminding hunters it’s illegal to bait deer in some counties.
The DNR says baiting is illegal this year in Eau Claire, Chippewa, Dunn, Barron, Buffalo, Polk, Trempealeau, Washburn, Burnett, and Pepin Counties. People caught baiting could face hundreds of dollars in fines.
