On Thursday October 10, local officers were recognized in Madison at the State capital for their response to a multi casualty homicide incident
which took place in the Village of Lake Hallie on Sunday July 28, 2019.
Speaker of the Assembly Robin J. Vos and Representative Jesse James presented these officers the 68 th Assembly 1 st Responders of The Year Award. Multiple law enforcement and emergency personnel from several agencies responded to this incident as well as the mass casualty in the town of Lafayette and all are commended for their individual and collective group efforts.
