Attorneys for one of the convicted killers of a freelance photographer 14 years ago is asking Governor Tony Evers to grant clemency.
Brendan Dassey attorneys Laura Nirider and Steven Drizin talked with reporters in Madison today about the clemency request. Dassey has been in jail for 13 years and is not eligible for parole until 2048. He was convicted at 16-years-old along with his uncle Steven Avery of killing Teresa Halbach in 2005.
