WEATHER OFF THE RADAR

Many people in the Chippewa Valley could be without National Weather Service radar for a few weeks.

Reports say the NWS began replacing old radar equipment at its center in Chanhassen, Minnesota on Monday.  The NWS will still be able to issue warnings and use nearby radars to monitor the weather.  The radar is expected to be back up and running between September 19th and 30th.
