Wisconsin has a new leader of the Economic Development Corporation [[ WEDC ]].
Governor Tony Evers today appointed Melissa Hughes as the WEDC director. She has been working with the organic farming community for the last 16 years. The governor says Hughes brings a 72-county approach to economic development and he looks forward to working with her to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation while supporting farmers and manufacturers.
