Charges are bring filed against a woman accused of battling officers as they tried to rescue her at Cumberland City Beach.
Reports say Honey Blackcoon appeared to be in distress and unresponsive in the water around 4 a.m. Saturday. First responders made their way to her, at which point Blackcoon reportedly kicked and punched them. Police say alcohol was a factor in the incident. Blackcoon faces charges including disorderly conduct and battery to public officers.
