Man Sentenced To Life In Prison Following Death Of Lily Peters

We now have a resolution in the case that is familiar to our area and hits close to home.

A Chippewa man has been sentenced to life in prison following the death of ten-year-old Lily Peters.  Carson Peters-Berger pleaded guilty to first-degree intentional homicide.  Peters was found dead in April 2022 after disappearing while riding a bicycle in Chippewa Falls.  Peters-Berger previously pleaded not guilty to adult charges in December 2024.
