An in-home daycare worker convicted of child abuse in Trempealeau County will serve time in prison.
Ashley Hove was sentenced to ten-years of prison with five years of extended supervision on Monday. Deputies were first contacted by Mayo Clinic in Rochester about a one-year-old flown in by helicopter for a brain bleed. Investigators say the child was hurt while at Hove’s in-home daycare, with Hove admitting that she hurt the child twice. She’ll receive 480-days of jail credit and must pay more than 15-thousand dollars in restitution.
