The defense has begun presenting its case in the trial of Josie Dikeman.
Dikeman is the Onalaska woman facing homicide charges in connection with the 2023 death of her boyfriend’s six-year-old son A.J. Prosecutors wrapped up their case yesterday with testimony from a law enforcement officer who says that the boy’s father did not have the opportunity to kill the boy and that Dikeman had created a new social media account to try and hide messages that could have otherwise been incriminating. The defense began its presentation by calling the father’s ex-girlfriend and one of his former co-workers to the stand.
