The Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office has announced the return of the annual Kids ‘N Cops Shopping Event, taking place on Sunday, December 7th, from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM at Wal-Mart, 3915 Gateway Drive, Eau Claire.
This heartwarming event pairs referred children from Eau Claire County with local law enforcement officers—including Police Officers, Deputies, Troopers, and Conservation Wardens—for a day of shopping, bonding, and holiday cheer. Children are referred to the program by area school officials, social workers, and law enforcement personnel.
Each child will be accompanied by an officer to shop for essential items such as socks, undergarments, clothing, and cold-weather gear. Once these necessities are gathered, the children will be invited to select a toy or two to brighten their holiday season. The experience concludes with a visit to a designated area for seasonal snacks, a light lunch, and time to connect with their law enforcement partner.
