Today, June 16, is officially proclaimed Kwik Trip Day in Wisconsin.

Governor Tony Evers says he signed the proclamation to celebrate the Wisconsin-based convenience store chain’s 60th birthday. The company was founded in Eau Claire in 1965, and is now headquartered in La Crosse. Currently, Kwik Trip employs more than 38-thousand workers at about 900 locations in Wisconsin and bordering states.
