A new study shows the number of homeless students in Wisconsin is on the rise.
The Wisconsin Police Forum reports more than 20-thousand homeless students statewide during the 2023-2024 school year. That’s an increase of more than nine-percent from the year before. The report says homelessness rates decrease as students grow older, but increase again once they hit their senior year of high school.
