Rest In Peace, Sully

A familiar voice in our area lost a battle with Leukemia. Eau Claire area broadcaster Mike Sullivan died peacefully at 75 years old.

Sullivan was known to many as “Sully” and was behind the mic for decades as a sports broadcaster.

He was born in 1949 and spent much of his life entertaining listeners of the Z-100 morning show on WBIZ-FM radio, as well as serving as the voice of the UW-Eau Claire Blugolds, North and Memorial High teams, and the Regis Ramblers among many others.

A former student at UW-Eau Claire, Sullivan was inducted in the Wisconsin Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2015. CLICK HERE FOR MORE COVERAGE WITH WEAU 13 NEWS.
