EC County Annual Crime Report Released

The Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office released its annual crime report.

Over 7,300 arrests were made in 2024. The biggest increase in crime the county saw in 2024 was camping on city property. Another increase officials saw was the use of cocaine. The largest decrease in crime that officials saw was Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated. Sheriff Dave Riewestahl said it is important for all the departments to “keep up their enforcement efforts.” CLICK HERE TO SEE THE FULL REPORTS.
