MPD Mourns Loss of Officer

The Menomonie Police Department is mourning the death of an off-duty officer. 

The department announced on its Facebook page on Friday the “unexpected” death of Officer Sam Miller.  Menomonie Police are asking neighboring law enforcement agencies to assist with “public safety needs” and asking for patience from the community.  The department did not provide any word on the cause of Miller’s death, but you can learn more about what you can do to help Officer Miller’s family with a click here.
