WI Sees Rise in Whooping Cough Cases

Whooping cough cases are significantly increasing in Wisconsin.

The Department of Health Service says 625 cases are confirmed statewide so far this year, compared to 51 total cases reported last year. Almost half of all cases are in Wisconsinites aged eleven to eighteen years old. DHS says it encourages people in the state to make sure children are up to date on their pertussis vaccines.
