City Council Approves Ban on City Camping

The rules against homelessness in La Crosse are about to get tougher.

The city council last night approved a ban on camping on city land. The idea is to move the homeless people in the city to new homes or programs, and out of the city’s parks. There is no clear timeline yet as to when they will begin to enforce the new camping ban.
